Reams Enterprises was contracted to construct new access control points for both the Main Gate and the Lee Gate at Fort McPherson Georgia.
Main Gate project scope of work included demolition of three buildings, installation of 705 LF of new storm sewer lines, 3K+ LF of 48 strand fiber optic cabling, 650 LF of 100 pair telephone cable, 12,500 SY of asphalt and base, 1,200 LF of security fencing, construction of new guardhouse, installation of blast resistant windows, high voltage service to include transformers and switches, new security and street lighting, 36 hydraulic pop-up bollards, and installation of 100 KW gas fired backup generator.
Lee Gate entrance project was to renovate the existing gate. Scope of work included renovate guardhouse and install overhead canopy, new electrical high voltage service to include transformers and switches, 2,500 SY of asphalt and base, new security and street lighting, 33 hydraulic pop-up bollards, and installation of 100 KW gas fired backup generator. Lee Gate project required that the gate remain open while the main gate was closed.
